DF6203 data concentrator unit (DCU), serving as the interface between the Head End System (HES) and the filed meters, executes the meter reading tasks and parameterization and data transfer functions in the form of scheduled and on-demand manners between HES and meters.
Ø Bidirectional communication
Ø Modular design
Ø Strong anti-interference and reliable
Ø Various communication interfaces
Ø Data acquisition
l Capable of collecting energy data and instantaneous data from energy metering devices made by different manufacturers in real-time and scheduled manners.
Ø Maintenance
l Both local and remote maintenance are available.
Ø Communications
l Uplink communication consists of GPRS, RSTN,Ethernet, etc., which adopt different modules, respectively. Such a design enables a flexible replacement anytime. Any type of modules is identified automatically without manual settings.
l Downlink communication covers micro-power wireless(RF), Power Line Communication (PLC) and RS485, etc. Independent modules, designed for RF and PLC, which are identified automatically and pluggable and can be replaced by any other big-brand counterparts.
Ø Data Storage Function
l Internal portable disk(storage capacity 64M~1G)stores load profiles, energy data from energy meters, events with time stamps, and so forth; the storage period can be flexibly set from 1 to 60 minutes; data can be read from storage card in the case of power failure. The format of data files is completely compatible with Windows so as to be easily copied; period of data retention after power failure reaches to over a decade.
l Customized backup portable SD card can also be provided.
Ø System Synchronization
l The concentrator is equipped with real-time clock of high accuracy and there are three timing modes available: remote master station, local GPS and manual timing.
Ø Faults Record &Alarm Function
l Record & alarm of communication failures, device failures and other faults are provided.
