In February 2022, the Winter Olympics were successfully held in Beijing. After the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Wisdom once again assists the power for the Olympics.

The Winter Olympics need to ensure uninterrupted power supply around the clock, while the high-altitude and low-temperature usage environment in the competition area poses new challenges for Wisdom’s multi-function power meters and IoT edge gateways. Wisdom"s scientific research team actively solved the difficulties, went to the project site in Zhangjiakou to conduct on-site research, worked around the clock to break through the technical difficulties, the design scheme was drafted several times, and after several rounds of modification, optimization and product improvement tests, Wisdom finally successfully developed IOT Edge Gateway and Multi-function Power Meter in line with the project"s technical requirements, and passed the project"s on-site testing, which was highly recognized by the customer and came out on top among the manufacturers.

As a key part of the project, the IoT edge processing unit adopts IoT technology and edge computing technology to realize real-time collection, real-time processing and real-time safe transmission of power distribution system data in low-temperature environments, and to meet the special requirements of low temperature, high reliability, high security and strong real-time nature of the Winter Olympics scenarios.

This Olympic power preservation cycle is long and cross Spring Festival, the power preservation scope is wide, high requirements, complex environment, and at the same time affected by the epidemic, which brought unprecedented tasks and challenges to the project implementation. Wisdom was set up and arranged half a year in advance. Strictly control all aspects from project planning to scheme design, product closed development, testing, delivery to on-site debugging, operation and maintenance, etc. At the same time, more than ten business elites stayed at the scene during the Spring Festival, seriously did a good job of system inspection, hidden trouble detection, etc., the entire event achieved zero equipment failure, zero customer flash, zero error, zero complaints about the service, a strong protection of the Winter Olympics and the Winter Paralympics during the power supply equipment, safe, reliable and stable operation.
