With the rapid development of the electric vehicle industry and distributed energy sources such as photovoltaics, the application prospects of DC energy measurement technology are becoming increasingly broad, and the development of DC energy measurement and testing standards is gradually receiving attention and attention from countries around the world. The P2960 standard will standardize the technical requirements, test methods, and inspection rules of DC energy meter inspection devices, provide guidance for the acceptance work of DC energy meter inspection devices that have been put into operation or newly manufactured, promote the development of DC energy measurement related industries and technical specifications, and fill the gap in IEEE standards in the field of DC energy meter inspection devices.

 

This standard was approved in early 2021 and underwent 21 centralized preparation and special discussions within two years. During this process, Wisdom, as the secretary unit of the working group, actively provided suggestions and hosted the third working group meeting, which was recognized by participating experts and accumulated valuable experience for further participation in the formulation and revision of international standards.

Wisdom has always actively participated in the formulation of international, national, industry, and group standards, playing a positive role in promoting the construction of industry standard systems. In the future, Wisdom will continue to focus on the "Four Leads" and deeply implement the product leadership strategy of "technology innovation as the guide and customer value as the goal". With a global perspective, Wisdom will actively participate in international standard research and make a Chinese voice on international platforms.
