TATA Power Company is a well-known private power company in India with strong strength in the field of Indian power system. With the assistance of the Indian company, WISDOM high-voltage meters and prepaid devices were successfully tested in TATA"s BAWANA Industrial Park, smart meters were tested in TATA"s laboratory, and the joint operation of the general contracting project promoted the friendly and cooperative relationship between the two parties.
On August 21, at the invitation of Mr. SANJAY KUMAR BANGA, CEO of TATA Power Delhi Power Distribution Company, Mr. Zhang and his entourage went to TATA Power Company to exchange ideas on the cooperation of the AMI project in India. First of all, the CEO of TATA Company extended a warm welcome to everyone, and at the same time made a detailed interpretation of the Indian national AMI market, and explained in detail the TATA independent bidding project and its EPC general contracting project planning; then, Mr. Zhang introduced the company"s strategic plan for the development of the Indian market and WISDOM"s specific measures, the company"s core competitiveness and the trend of "Ubiquitous Internet of Things" in China"s power grid; Wang Xiangbo made a supplementary explanation on the localization plan of smart meters. Finally, the two parties reached the following consensus on jointly expanding the Indian electricity market: TATA Power invited us to participate in the pilot bidding of its independently planned NBIOT smart meter; for new technologies and products such as high-voltage meters, TATA cooperated to complete the pilot, and the two parties jointly promoted them in the Indian market; Under the condition of satisfying the localized production of smart meters, we will become a long-term strategic partner based on India"s AMI smart metering and power grid modernization projects.

After the 2-day customer visit and on-site inspection, the Indian company analyzed the smart metering market in India, the status of AMI smart meter products, the advantages and disadvantages of the Indian smart meter market of Dongfang Electronics, market planning, market access, market entry methods and localization work. The plan was explained in detail to Mr. Zhang. Mr. Zhang expressed his gratitude to the Indian company for its support and help to WISDOM all the time, because India is a populous country with huge market potential, and WISDOM is firmly optimistic about the Indian market. As the saying goes: "Individuals can"t win a team, a team can’t win the trend”, at present, the localization in India already has the conditions of “time, location, and harmony”.
